CoST Champion in Tanzania The CoST Champion is the Minister responsible for good governance. The Champion is the national point of contact on CoST for Ministerial colleagues and other key governance bodies such as Parliament, the Presidency, the Prime Minister’s Office, foreign Ambassadors and ranking members of relevant regional and international organizations like the African Union, the World Bank, UK DFID and others. The Champion represents her or his country at high-level international Ministerial meetings, at her or his convenience. Perhaps the most important contribution of the Champion is to use her or his strategic position to help overcome challenges facing the project from time to time.
