CoST in Tanzania In Tanzania, CoST launched its operations on November 2008 and established its Secretariat on March 2009. The Secretariat implements the day to day CoST activities while the Multi – Stakeholder Group (MSG) is the overall governing body of the activities of CoST including the provision of oversight of the work of the Secretariat. The Secretariat is hosted by the National Construction Council (NCC) which has accepted to be an Administrative Host for CoST NCC is a government institution which is a focal point for sector coordination of all the institutions engaged in the construction industry activities for the purpose of ensuring consolidation, harmonization and competitive performance of the industry in Tanzania.
